Did the U.S. Army Kill Philip Seymour Hoffman?

Philip Seymour Hoffman

Killed by the U.S. Army?
Under both Democrats and Republicans the US Army has
protected the poppy fields of Afghan drug lords.

Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead with five empty heroin bag as well as many as 65 more bags that were still unused.

But the real story that the lame-stream media will not tell you is Hoffman was most likely killed by heroin exported from Afghan poppy fields protected by NATO and the U.S. Army.

Below is a must listen to interview on the phony drug war between radio host Alex Jones and former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura (Independence Party of Minnesota).

Both major parties and their lap-dog media supporters have covered up American and NATO involvement in protecting drug lords.  It takes independent politicians like Ventura and Internet journalists such as Jones to tell the truth.

Jesse Ventura: On The Drug War
Advance the video to 5:30 for the truth about the phony war on drugs.

The Taliban was eradicating poppy production as "un-Islamic".  Then in comes NATO and poppy farmers are allowed to grow their crops again.

Today, with 87,000 NATO troops in Afghanistan, cultivation of poppies has hit record levels as NATO forces prepare to exit the country. The UN warned warlords may be the biggest benefactor of the situation.
.
Afghanistan, long the world’s main heroin supplier, has seen its total area of poppy seed plantations explode to 516,000 acres - a 36 percent increase from 2012, according to the report says RT News.
.
Last year, the war-torn Central Asian country accounted for 75 percent of the world’s opium supplies; Jean-Luc Lemahieu, head of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Afghanistan, has said in the past that supplies may reach 90 percent of the global total this year.

Making the world safe for drugs
A funny thing happened on the way to Afghanistan, the US
and NATO protected poppy producers from the Taliban.

2001 Blast from the Past Article
Only a "crazy" fringe person would suggest that the US and NATO went into Afghanistan in order to keep the supply of drugs flowing.  Only a conspiracy nut would suggest that governments want to keep their populations in a perpetual drugged stupor so they will not question their Masters.  It would be wrong to say these things, so I will not do it.

Hollywood Plans Pro-Communist Version of Anti-Communist Animal Farm

George Orwell might have seen this coming.
  • The retard Moonbats of Hollywood strike again.  Millionaire Liberals living in Malibu and Beverly Hills mansions want to make a movie about the evils of capitalism and wealth building.  The sad thing is Liberals do not understand how fucking stupid they look.

(From Moonbattery.com)  -  In his most famous work 1984, Orwell describes a totalitarian society in which history is constantly rewritten to meet the momentary political needs of the ruling party, on the theory that those who control the present control the past, and those who control the past control the future.

Another well-known work warning of the perils of oligarchical collectivism is Animal Farm, in which a socialist revolution leaves everyone but those who end up in power worse off than before. Applying the principles of the former book to the latter, we have the next obscenity to be excreted by Hollywood:
Actor Andy Serkis is set to direct an upcoming movie adaptation of George Orwell’s classic novel Animal Farm. But there will be a slight deviation from the story’s original focus: rather than serve as a cautionary tale about Communist totalitarianism, this updated version will address Hollywood’s predictable, go-to embodiment of evil, the Darth Vader of our time: corporate greed.
That is, the anti-communist story will be twisted around to advance the ideological objectives of communists.

What would expect from the leftist oligarchs of Tinseltown?
Gibbers Serkis,
“First and foremost, we are not making a film about Communism and Stalinism because if Orwell was writing the story today, he would be talking about other relevant topics like globalization and corporate greed.”
Yeah right. A more likely possibility is that Orwell
might be taking up his pen against the abuses of government surveillance, the left’s alliance with the creeping totalitarianism of Islamic theocracy, and the oppression inherent in the left’s shrewd manipulation of political language, such as its relentless push for submission to speech codes and its intolerance of politically incorrect expression.
Typically of left-wing propaganda, the movie will be targeted toward an audience too innocent to laugh it off.
“We’re making a family film,” said Serkis. Of course, because progressives are nothing if not proselytizers for their political religion, and they know how critical it is to preach their gospel to the youth. Hence all the family-friendly, anti-corporate, animated environmentalist propaganda films in recent years like Wall-E, Happy Feet, and The Lorax. Serkis’ Animal Farm seems destined to be burdened by a similar sort of heavy-handed agitprop.
From here, the commies running Hollywood can press ahead with a version of Atlas Shrugs that extols socialism and attacks “corporate greed” and the long-overdue film version of The Gulag Archipelago praising the just and humane ways of the Soviet government. Then they might broaden their perspective with a biblical epic promoting homosexuality.

The best and worst movies of 2013

Thor  -  The Best of the Best

By Gary;

My first love is movies.  Hollywood can take us out of our everyday lives and into worlds of great wonder or terror.

That is the reason "Thor: The Dark World" ranks as the best movie of 2013.

Thor had the most difficult job of any film this year.  But they successfully melded impossible Norse myths with our modern world and with Science Fiction.  The CGI effects are beautiful.  The actors Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Anthony Hopkins are in top form.

Special Note - Tom Hiddleston as Loki is fantastic.  One of the best actors out there.

My Best Movies of 2013

  1. Thor: The Dark World
  2. Iron Man 3
  3. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
  4. R.I.P.D.
  5. Gravity
  6. Oz the Great and Powerful
  7. Star Trek Into Darkness
  8. Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters
  9. Oblivion
Tom Cruise's "Oblivion" was visually stunning and
much more entertaining than I expected.

So So Movies

Over the years I have seen far more of these films than I care to remember.

Elysium
Beautiful CGI effects of a future earth of extreme grinding poverty and death.  But I felt the plot did not come together at the end.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
Three hours of my life gone.  I hate this bloated, spastic movie on so many levels.  The only thing that keeps this film in the so so category is the incredibly well done dragon.

Still, Peter Jackson should hang his head in shame.  This film is a very long giant smelly turd.

Major Disappointments

After Earth
The winner for the steaming pile of shit award.  Will Smith is horrible and his son is unwatchable.

Man of Steel
For the love of God, please someone take the editor's ax to every scene with Kevin Costner and then shred the film clips.  Amy Adams should never have been hired.  She can't act worth a crap.  Erica Durance who portrayed Lois Lane in "Smallville" is a far, far better actress and should have been hired for the role.

The Wolverine
Huge Jackman in Japan  -  both confusing and boring.

World War Z
Wow.  About $200 million was spent to make a really crappy zombie movie.  AMC's "The Walking Dead" spent about $1.5 million for a one hour episode that was far more entertaining than this Brad Pitt turkey.

The Lone Ranger
Burn all copies.  Nuff said.

The Best Movie of 2013
Thor: The Dark World Official Trailer HD

Oz the Great and Powerful
One of the best films of the year.  It is impossible to get the 1939 classic out of our minds.  But this James Franco prequel is a wonder to watch.  Plus in this film you get both wicked witches for one ticket price.

Ghostbusters meets Beetlejuice
The movie did not do well at the box office but
so what!  For pure escapism R.I.P.D. was lots of fun.

Man of Yawn
Too God Damn Fucking Long!  With too much screen time devoted to a worthless
Kevin Costner and the Kent family sub-plot.  Jor-El on Krypton was a bore.

‘Survivor’ Renewed by CBS for Seasons 29 & 30

Jeff Probst to Return as Host
  • Unbelievable, "Survivor" has been renewed for seasons 29 and 30.  But even more unbelievable is I have been there every step of the way.  It is hard for me to remember what TV was like before "Survivor".

As the ultimate fan of "Survivor I ask what is there not to like?  Hot chicks in bikinis, tropical island locations, totally retarded assholes as contestants, alliances, backstabbing, rednecks, nerds, hunky macho guys and people starving on TV for my entertainment.  God Bless CBS.

Now “Survivor” will continue its run on CBS, as the broadcast net renews the veteran competition program for seasons 29 and 30. The two-season pickup will take the series through 2015, and Jeff Probst will return as host and exec producer.

“‘Survivor’ set the standard for unscripted dramas,” said exec producer Mark Burnett. “We’ve never gone away from the core values of the game, but we’ve kept it fresh every season. ‘Survivor’ in its essence has been a social experiment from day one. It’s as valid today with young people who weren’t old enough to remember what TV was when the show started.” reports Variety.

“Survivor” is averaging 11.3 million viewers on Wednesday night with its recent theme “Blood Vs. Water.” It ranks as the second highest-rated reality series on broadcast this season in adults 18-49, following “The Voice.”

While the show has had a remarkably long history on CBS, Burnett was not anticipating such a tenure during the early years of the program.

“I remember Leslie Moonves saying to me at TCAs on an escalator before season three started, ‘You’ll be making season 23,’” Burnett recalled, quipping that he barely believed the CBS chief.

The program, which has logged over 400 episodes thus far on CBS, has established itself not only as a part of  pop culture discourse with its now iconic catch phrases, but also as the blueprint for reality TV formats that were conceived after its debut.

Locations for the pair of forthcoming seasons have yet to be determined, and casting for season 29 is getting underway. Probst noted that themes for a season — like “Blood Vs. Water” — are determined after casting, once the creatives establish what kind of personalities are on the show.

Both Burnett and Probst agreed that Palau was one of the most beautiful places where “Survivor” has lensed, and the duo also praised the Philippines for its hospitality to cast members and crew.

“Africa was also amazing,” Probst said of season three. “We were living in tents in the middle of Kenya. Mark’s tent was the same size as mine, and right next to mine. Mine was next to the newest guy on the crew. There was no hierarchy.”

The days of tent life have mostly ended for “Survivor,” as the crew now shoots back-to-back seasons for CBS that translate to 78 days of shooting over a 95 day period.

“Going to a location that would require us to live in tents just isn’t feasible. That’s not good for a crew,” Probst explained. “We have to consider our crew and make sure they have a roof, toilet and shower, bare minimum.”

The key to “Survivor’s” success, according to Probst, isn’t just the compelling format that can be mined for thematic twists. Audience loyalty is also a leading factor in the show’s notable run.

“This is a show with family viewing — one that mom and dad want to watch with their kids,” said Probst. “The byproduct is you have kids who watch with their parents and become the next generation of viewers who take the show for another round. Without our audience sticking with us, we wouldn’t still be on air.”

The Walking Dead shocks fans as character death toll rises

The Dead are Dead & Ratings are Up
Simply, the best damn show on TV today.

Damn it all to Zombie Hell . . . stop killing my favorite characters!

The mid-season finale of the Walking Dead saw the corpses piling up . . . and naturally some of them walking around too.

AMC's The Walking Dead delivered one of its most brutal episodes in its four-season run Sunday when the zombie drama killed off not one but two series regulars in its bloody mid-season finale.

After waiting a season and a half for the confrontation between Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and The Governor (David Morrissey), the series based on Robert Kirkman's comics delivered in a major way when the eye-patched baddie drove his tank into the prison community after beheading Hershel (Scott Wilson).

Brutal.  Bloody.  Classic sci-fi / horror film making.

While I think season 4 is a bit weaker than season 3, that is only because season 3 was so insanely good.  But over all the Walking Dead is the best drama on TV bar none.

The Walking Dead is the highest rated show in the history of cable, and the number one show in all of television in the 18-49 demographic.

The show drew 12.1 million viewers and 7.7 million adults in the critical 18-49 age group.

Those numbers are impressive by any standards. Except the show’s own. The Season Four premiere drew a staggering 16.1 million viewers and 10.1 million in the 18-49 demo.

An even more unlikely–and economical–hit for AMC has been The Talking Dead, a TWD themed talk show hosted by Chris Hardwick.  This week it set a record with a 6 million total viewers and 3.8 million in 18-49. Over the first eight episodes, it’s posted a solid average of 4.5 million total viewers with 3.0 million in the coveted 18-49.  That’s represents an increase of 128% and 120% over last year’s numbers.

Hell on Wheels renewed for a 'Super-Sized' Season 4

The Return of the Western
AMC has been on a roll with "Breaking Bad",
"Mad Men" and the "Walking Dead".

Once the bread and butter of Hollywood, the Western has fallen on tough times for decades.  Today movie and TV audiences appear to favor spies, fucking lawyers, aliens and zombies.

Don't get me wrong I love a good end of the world alien flick as much as the next guy.  But I also love the classic Western genre that represents all it means to be an American.

I must give credit to American Movie Classics for creating the Western show Hell on Wheels.

The show provides the gritty realism of what the west must have really felt like:  crooked politicians, greedy businessmen, racism, bravery, hard working immigrants, murder and more.  Great acting and solid scripts combined with history and realism.  Bravo AMC.

The ratings were not what AMC wanted so they shipped the show off to Saturday night for a swift and painful death.  But a funny thing happened, millions the show's fans followed the series over to Saturday night.

Hell on Wheels laughed at the Saturday night death time slot.

The series’ recently-concluded third season averaged 3.3 million viewers, a surprisingly strong number considering its shift to the TV graveyard known as Saturday night. To reward its solid performance, AMC has expanded Season 4 (coming next summer) to 13 episodes — up from 10 for the first three seasons reports TV Line.

“AMC has served passionate Western fans for three decades, so it is particularly gratifying to see these viewers capping off their Saturdays with an original Western on what has historically been a tough night of the week for television,” noted AMC president Charlie Collier in a statement. ”Our commitment to the genre is unwavering and we look forward to continuing to super-serve this audience with an expanded fourth season of Hell on Wheels.”

Socialist Democrats on a Job Killing Rampage - A 95% Drop in Jobs

Porn Star Sunny Leone

Democrats Drive Porn Jobs Out of L.A.
  • Liberals work overtime to crush job creation and then they wonder why there is not enough tax money to pay for government.

The number of permits pulled to make porn films in Democrat controlled Los Angeles County has declined an estimated 95 percent — from about 480 issued in 2012 to only 24 through the first nine months of this year — since a law requiring adult film actors to use condoms took effect, officials said Friday.

Film LA, a private nonprofit that issues permits for filming in Los Angeles County, cautioned that its 2012 figures were just an estimate because it did not specifically track porn films until the condom requirement took effect in March 2012 reports the Associated Press.

Now that it does, the organization said only 24 permits were issued this year as of mid-September.
.
The adult film industry trade group, the Free Speech Coalition, said those numbers show the law adopted by voters is costing the county hundreds of thousands of dollars.

The Los Angeles Times reported that the porn industry employs about 10,000 people as actors or in technical supporting jobs.

Larry Flint of Hustler said, "We won't be doing anything in Los Angeles."  He is already making plans to shift production to Mexico, Arizona or Hawaii.

The group's executive director, Diane Duke, said a typical porn film permit costs about $1,000, meaning the county lost about $456,000.

"And if you think about the associated vendors and jobs that have gone elsewhere, I think that speaks volumes about what this is costing," she said.

Duke said some filmmakers went to neighboring counties, while others headed out of state.
.
Some smaller producers could also be forgoing permits to keep from drawing attention to themselves.

,
States around California are stealing businesses, jobs
and tax income from the once Golden State.

Porn Star Jessica Drake
Forced government condoms are unconstitutional.

Driving taxpayers out of Los Angeles
Jenna Jameson earns a million dollar paycheck in the porn industry.  Socialist Democrats have decided that having lots of taxpayers in the state is a bad thing.  Much better to drive jobs across the border into Nevada or Mexico.

Big Brother Sex Police
Fascist Democrats (helped by many Republicans) are thrusting unconstitutional Police State powers deep, deep into our most personal of freedoms  -  the right to have sex.
.
If Big Brother can invade privately owned businesses and force free men and women to use condoms under the watchful eye of agents of the All-Powerful-State then our Liberty is doomed.  Once this Fascist intrusion into our freedom becomes the norm the State will expand their surveillance of private sex acts in the name of "health" and "the public good".

Steve Seagal rips Obama and defends the 2nd Amendment

Steven Seagal
'The Obama regime is very good at controlling
the media and propaganda'

In a wide ranging interview with RT News, actor Steven Segal speaks about martial arts, Putin, terrorism, his close friendship with Libertarian-Republican Congressman Dana Rohrabacher of California and supporting Republican politics.

He speaks fondly of Vladimir Putin as one of the great leaders of the world and how the US and Russian should be friends and allies against terrorism.

Seagal says basically the media are propaganda masters for Obama, we’re not getting the truth.

Seagal says CNN is "bought and paid for" by the Obama regime. . . . and he goes out of his way to use the word regime.

He also defends gun rights, the Second Amendment and the right to bear arms to protect against evil governments.

He also suggests that some of the mass shootings are engineered. “Armed guards are in stores” Seagal said, “Why can we not protect our children[in schools]?”. He went on to say the issue is really one of mental health and parenting. He notes that Japan has some of the most violent movies, yet doesn’t have the issue of violence.

A Must Watch!!!  -  Listen to the entire interview.
Criticism of Obama starts around 6:00 minute mark.
.
It is a shame that we have to go to the foreign media and the Internet for so much information that matters.  On US TV we are subjected to meaningless 22 second sound bites or short, phony "interviews" where each side simply regurgitates the talking points of their party.

"I believe in the 2nd Amendment and the Constitution
more than anything in the world."

My Ten Halloween Movies For The Weekend

It's Halloween Movie Weekend
The ten horror movies I will be watching this weekend.

By Gary;

To milk Halloween for ratings, cable TV has been overflowing with assorted horror films.  Most of them suck to one degree or another plus they are chopped up by editors and filled with inane commercials.  Watch these shows at your own risk.

So rather than watch what TV wants to give me I have lined up ten DVDs of my favorite horror films to watch over this Friday-Saturday-Sunday Halloween weekend.

This is not a list of the ten best horror films ever made.  It is simply my list for the weekend.  I am not into gory slasher crap or sawing off body parts.  Let others "entertain" themselves with those films.  I will stick with classic themes.

So the popcorn has been purchased and pizza will be ordered.  Time to enjoy my favorite holiday.

#1  -  Dracula   (1931)

Yes I have seen this thing a million times since childhood.  But I just can't help myself.  It is the classic that started it all.  My recent review and re-reading of the book impressed upon me all the more the power of the story.

The creepy atmosphere and black and white filming of the 1931 version cannot be beat.  And we cannot forget the great Dwight Frye as Renfield.  He nearly steals the film.  If you could combine this and the 1992 Francis Ford Coppola version your would have the perfect Dracula movie.

#2  -  Resident Evil   (2002)

It is possible that I could watch Milla Jovovich all day.

Everything is there for the modern sci fi horror flick:  genetically engineered zombies, artificial intelligence, the evil Red Queen who seals the Hive and kills everyone inside.  Zombies and mass killings.  What is there not to like?

#3  -  Tremors   (1990)

I was blown away when I saw this in the theater.  My God, it is the perfect horror comedy.  Oddly it is funnier than Hell, scary and politically correct at the same time.  In an unusual move for the time, we have multiple racial groups available for munching by the graboids.

Also, a double thumbs up to Val and Earl, the two best handymen ever.

Earl Bassett:  "Damn it Valentine, you never plan ahead, you never take the long view, I mean here it is Monday and I'm already thinking of Wednesday... It is Monday right?"

#4  -  The Hills Have Eyes    (2006)

Now were are into hardcore horror with this remake.  The movie is frightening on many levels with mutants, people being burned alive, rape and cannibalism.

#5  -  Blade    (1998)

This film starring Wesley Snipes and Kris Kristofferson took traditional vampires in a totally new direction.  We now saw vampire corporate boards of directors, vamp discos with blood spraying from the ceiling sprinklers and corrupt cops on the vamp payroll.  Into the middle of this mad world comes Blade both slicing and dicing vamps.

Jenny Williams:  "Even a man who is pure in heart and says his prayers by night, may become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms and the autumn moon is bright."

#6  -  The Wolf Man    (1941)

This universal classic stars the great Lon Chaney, Jr. as "The Wolf Man" and features Claude Rains, Evelyn Ankers, Ralph Bellamy, Patric Knowles, and Béla Lugosi.  A wonderful cast.

In look and feel the movie closely resembles Frankenstein, the Invisible Man, The Mummy and Dracula.  It is way too short 70 minutes in length.  The wolf man special effects stand up well even today.

#7  -  Underworld   (2003)

Wow!  Forbidden vampire / werewolf love.

Again I was blown away in the theater by Underworld.  The movie broke new ground with Kate Beckinsale as a vampire who is a Death Dealer Lycan hunter.  Stylish Gothic visuals, leather clad vamps, great special effects and solid action scenes with gun play and silver whips.

#8  -  Dawn of the Dead   (2004)

I never really like zombie films until this remake and Resident Evil came along.  The dead walking left the supernatural realm and became a modern bio-hazard science based horror.  Scary because it sounds like it could happen.

The film depicts a handful of human survivors living in a Milwaukee, Wisconsin shopping mall surrounded by swarms of zombies.

#9  -  Halloween   (1978)

Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho created the slasher film, but John Carpenter's Halloween set the stage for countless copy cats.  The victims were usually sexually promiscuous substance abusers, while the lone heroine is depicted as an innocent and pure kid who was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I hate to date myself, but I was in the theater on opening night.  Halloween was wonderful and it still the only "slasher" film I will watch.  Many slasher movies since then have gone over to bloody gore while Halloween was tame by comparison.

Carpenter's music helped make the film.  Donald Pleasence and Jamie Lee Curtis in her film debut were outstanding.

#10  -  The Lost Boys   (1987)

I am so old that I can remember when Kiefer Sutherland was young.

The Lost Boys was fantastic on the wide screen.  A totally offbeat hippie vampire flick.  There is a near perfect balance between humor and suspense.  Dianne Wiest is great as an ex-hippie mom and Barnard Hughes shines as grandpa.

Have a happy Halloween.  See you all down the road.

David:  "Now you know what we are, now you know what you are. You'll never grow old, Michael, and you'll never die. But you must feed!"

Oliver Stone, John Cusack Warn Against NSA Surveillance

Hollywood Rediscovers the Bill of Rights
Some in Hollywood start to fight back against the 1984 Surveillance Police State while most Democrat and GOP politicians defend Big Brother.

Oliver Stone, John Cusack, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Wil Wheaton are among showbiz figures who are stepping into the debate over the National Security Agency surveillance programs, appearing in a public service announcement that calls for an end to the monitoring.

“Everybody is at risk for getting caught up in the NSA dragnet,” Stone says in the 3 minute, 26 second spot, which also features Daniel Ellsberg, Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.) and Phil Donahue reports Variety.

The spot was directed by Brian Knappenberger and produced by the Electronic Frontier Foundation.

The video is an effort to garner support for a rally on Oct. 26 in Washington called Stop Watching Us, organized by more than 100 public interest groups that are demanding that Congress investigate the NSA spying programs.

The video also is one of the first major pushes against the program using celebrity figures since news of Edward Snowden’s leaks of information about the program was first published.

Stop Watching Us: The Video
This video harnesses the voices of celebrities, activists, legal experts, and other
prominent figures in speaking out against mass surveillance by the NSA.

John Cusack - Defender of Liberty
The Bill of Rights is neither Democrat nor Republican.  It is American.  It is good to see someone like John Cusack publicly stand up for Liberty and serve as a board member of the Freedom of the Press Foundation.
.
See John Cusack's article 'Eric Holder criminalizes whistleblowers'

Interesting
We had to learn about unconstitutional spying on Americans from a British newspaper.  The American media machine wouldn't be bought and paid for by the D.C. Establishment would it?
