California Latinos Will Surpass Whites in March, 2014

Viva Mexico
  • Latinos become the largest ethnic group in the Golden State with Asians coming up fast at 13.1% of the population.

(San Francisco Chronicle)  -  The Latino population is projected to surpass that of whites in California in March to become the single largest “race or ethnic group,” according to a report on shifting demographics in Gov. Jerry Brown’s 2014-15 budget proposal.

Also, the number of residents 65 and older will jump by 20.7 percent over the next five years, the report said.

State demographers expected Latinos to surpass the non-Hispanic white population seven months earlier, but Latino birth rates were lower than anticipated. Now, officials say, by March Latinos will make up 39 percent of California’s population, edging out non-Hispanic whites at 38.8 percent. Nearly 25 years ago, non-Hispanic whites made up 57 percent of the state, while Latinos made up 26 percent.

The state’s Department of Finance includes the projections in the governor’s budget proposal because of the potential economic impact, such as the increase in retirees affecting the scope of services needed for an aging population, or income disparities among minority groups increasing the need for social or educational programs.

"Demographic changes that are coming will reshape the electorate, and in turn that will likely have impacts on policies and issues that decision makers focus on in the coming decades," said Mindy Romero, director of the California Civic Engagement Project at the UC Davis Center for Regional Change.

Geographic data for the state's 58 counties show the Bay Area is leading the state in economic and population growth, said Bill Schooling, chief demographer for the state Department of Finance. Statewide, coastal cities are growing faster than the Central Valley.

As a state, California experienced modest growth in the past fiscal year, with estimates pegging the population at 38.2 million residents. By July, demographers anticipate the state's population will grow by 300,000 people.

State demographers previously projected the Latino population to reach more than 50 percent in 2042.

Coming Soon???
The unspoken question regarding massive uncontrolled immigration is, "Will part of the United States break away and merge with Mexico?"
.
This is a legitimate fear.  The U.S. had already broken into two nations in 1861.  The large scale movements of peoples in history have changed cultures, created new nations and wiped others from the map.
.
In the last century or so immigration, war and political power abolished the Kingdom of Hawaii; created the new nation of Israel; and recreated once extinct nations such as Poland, Armenia, Georgia, Ireland and Lithuania.

2nd Amendment - Mexican militias take on drug lords

Armed local militias in the Mexican state of Michoacan have forced a
notorious drugs trafficking organization out of their town.

The Mexicans Have it Right
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary
to the security of a free State . . ."

Let's be blunt.  The police cannot and do not protect you.  Police come along after the crime has been committed to write reports and take photos.  You need to defend yourself, and the Mexicans have effectively adopted our 2nd Amendment.

Armed local militias seized a cartel stronghold in the Mexican state of Michoacan on Sunday after a gun battle with suspected members of the notorious "Knights Templar" criminal organization.

The militia members say they took up arms last year because the government did nothing to protect them from the Knights Templar, who extorted local farmers and raped and murdered local women.

On its Facebook page, the Tepalcatepec "community police" force said that over 100 vehicles full of armed men took part in the move to occupy the town of Nueva Italia, which was successfully taken after a "light confrontation" at the city's entrance reports the UK Telegraph.

Thousands of armed citizens have banded together
to form a vigilante group in the town of Tierra
Colorado, 40 miles outside of the popular
tourist destination Acapulco.
Once inside the town, the vigilantes disarmed local police, who are often accused of working with criminal groups in the state of 4.3 million people.

Several Mexican media outlets reported the federal troops in the area observed the incursion but did nothing to intervene.

In the nearby town of Paracuaro, which was taken over on January 4, members of the vigilante groups said on Sunday that they were hunting for a local Knights Templar boss known by his alias, "the Toucan".

On January 7, a group of 300 vigilantes took over Paracuaro. One member was reported killed in the incident, and 11 local police officers were taken into the group's custody.

Several smaller communities in Michoacan's "Tierra Caliente" (Hot Country) region were also taken over by members of civilian militias last week, leaving them in control of much of the area around the city of Apatzingan, which is considered the headquarters of the Knights Templar organization.

On Friday, masked gunmen set fire to Apatzingan's municipal building and looted and burned several local stores.

In a statement, released by Fausto Vallejo, the state attorney general, said that he had asked for additional federal forces to help give local residents "tranquillity and security" and acknowledged the "insufficiency of municipal and even state police".

Similar self-defence organisations have also sprung up in the neighbouring states of Oaxaca and Guerrero.

Drug violence has left more than 70,000 people dead across the country as criminal organizations battle each other and the security forces.

Mexican Vigilantes Stand Up Against Crime
The state of Guerrero (which means "warrior") is one of the poorest in Mexico and the site of some of the worst violence in the battle between the drug cartels and Mexican authorities. As a result of the violence, hundreds of civillians have armed themselves with machetes, rifles, and shotguns, put masks on, and decided to police their own communities, effectively taking justice into their own hands.

In neighboring Guerrero, members of the Public Safety System (the name of the militia group) marched to commemorate the first anniversary of their founding.

Over the last year, militia groups, known as fuerzas autodefensas have sprung up all over Mexico, particularly in the southwestern state of Michoacan, an area plagued by the Knights Templar cartel.

Mexican Congress votes to end Socialism and Pump Oil with Private Investment

Mexico Adopts Capitalism
  • Mexico's Congress votes to amend the Constitution to allow private investment in the nation's socialist oil industry.
  • Mexico looks to pump oil and create jobs and wealth.
  • While back in the USA Socialist Democrats do everything possible to crush oil pumping and job creation.

The most dramatic overhaul of Mexico's oil industry in modern times came closer to fruition Thursday when Congress approved a proposal to end the state oil company's 75-year-old monopoly on the nation's oil and natural gas fields.

The vote marked President Enrique Pena Nieto's largest political triumph since he took office a year ago. After the 353-134 vote in the Chamber of Deputies, his supporters broke into sustained chants of "Mexico! Mexico!"

Lawmakers in favor — members of the Conservative opposition National Action Party (PAN) and ruling Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) — have said the reform was needed to revamp the lackluster state-run oil industry.

The proposal still must be approved by a majority of Mexico's 31 state legislatures and that of the federal district before it is enshrined in the constitution. That is expected to happen early next year; Pena Nieto's political party, the Institutional Revolutionary Party, or PRI, controls most of the state legislatures reports the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Once finally approved, the law would allow private capital, including foreign oil firms, to gain a foothold in the world's 10th-largest oil producer, an opportunity private companies have been denied since Mexico nationalized its oil industry in 1938.

In Twitter posts after the vote, Pena Nieto said it would "increase energy security of Mexico" and "boost productivity, economic growth and the generation of jobs."

"What we have approved will set the course for the country for the next 20 or 30 years," said Chamber of Deputies president Ricardo Anaya Cortes.

Nationalization of the oil industry has been a point of pride for Mexicans for decades, and Thursday's vote brought out high emotion, especially from nationalists who view the opening as an attack on a cornerstone of Mexican identity. Occasional cries of "traitor" interrupted the early-afternoon vote, which was taken not in the main chamber, but in an alternative hall because leftist opponents had piled up chairs and used chains to barricade entrances to the main chamber.

"The constitutional change was better and more pro-market than what the government initially proposed," said Nomura Securities' senior Latin America analyst Benito Berber.

Experts say Pemex could become the fifth-largest oil company in the world.

Articles of impeachment against Eric Holder to be filed

It's About Fucking Time
The Founding Fathers put impeachment into
the Constitution for a reason.

Eleven U.S. House Republicans have drafted articles of impeachment against Attorney General Eric Holder, an action one lawmaker said wasn't done lightly.

The lawmakers plan to formally introduce their charges against Holder Thursday, Roll Call reported..The charges include the Justice Department's refusal to turn over documents on the failed gun-running Operation Fast and Furious, a refusal to uphold certain laws -- specifically the Defense of Marriage Act -- and a refusal to prosecute IRS officials who accessed tax records of political donors and candidates without authorization.

Rep. Pete Olson
The articles of impeachment also charge that Holder lied to Congress reports UPI News. Rep. Pete Olson, R-Texas, said the decision wasn't taken lightly. "Since the House voted in 2012 to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt, the pattern of disregard for the rule of law and refusal to be forthright has continued," Olson said in a statement to Roll Call. "The American people deserve answers and accountability. If the attorney general refuses to provide answers, then Congress must take action."

Olson told Roll Call that he would release the four articles of impeachment Thursday. On Wednesday, he released a document detailing the impeachment claims against Holder.

  • Article I claims Holder "engaged in a pattern of conduct incompatible with the trust and confidence placed in him" by refusing to comply with a subpoena issued by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee for documents related to Operation Fast and Furious, which tracked guns crossing the U.S-Mexican border for use by drug cartels. One of the guns was used in the death of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry in December 2010.

  • Article II of the proceedings charges Holder violated his oath by refusing to enforce certain laws the Obama administration determined it would not enforce, including the Defense of Marriage Act, which the administration deemed unconstitutional.

  • Article III charges Holder violated his oath by "refusing to prosecute individuals involved in the Internal Revenue Service scandal of unauthorized disclosure of tax records belonging to political donors."

The last article accuses Holder of providing "false testimony to the House Judiciary Committee" concerning possible prosecution of Fox News reporter James Rosen under the Espionage Act.
.

Ten other Republicans are cosponsoring the articles of impeachment, Roll Call said. They are Phil Roe of Tennessee, Ted Yoho of Florida, Lynn Westmoreland of Georgia, Larry Bucshon of Indiana, Michele Bachmann of Minnesota, and Blake Farenthold, Randy Weber, Roger Williams, Bill Flores and Louie Gohmert, all of Texas.

Mexican Cartels Help Hezbollah Infiltrate U.S.

Ah, they are so cute before they self-detonate.

Open Borders in America
  • Legals and illegals come in through airports or open borders with little tracking from Big Government . . . I guess Big Gov is too busy reading your e-mails. Watching immigrants is way too much work.
  • While over in the private sector you cannot swipe a debt card at McDonalds without your bank tracking your every move.  But when government is involved both legal and illegal immigrants often just "vanish" into the background.
  • Neither the GOP nor the Dems have any real interest in immigration.  Democrats want poor voters to keep them in power and Republicans often bow before the Chamber of Commerce that wants more immigrants to drive down wages.

In a shocking revelation made by a veteran U.S. counterterrorism expert, Judicial Watch reports that Hezbollah has infiltrated the Southwest United States by joining forces with Mexican drug cartels that have long operated in the region.

Judicial Watch has for years reported on the chilling connection between Islamic extremists and Mexican drug cartels. In fact, as far back as 2007 JW wrote about an astounding Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) report that lays out how Islamic terrorists and Mexican drug gangs have teamed up to successfully penetrate the U.S. as well as finance terror networks in the Middle East.

In Hezbollah’s case, a growing “business relationship” with cartels has allowed the Shia Islamic militant group to have a growing presence in the U.S., says Matthew Levitt, an esteemed terrorism expert with an impressive resume.

Levitt is a former counterterrorism intelligence analyst at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and State Department counterterrorism adviser. He also served as the No. 2 intelligence official at the U.S. Treasury where he operated the agency’s terrorism and financial intelligence branch reports Judicial Watch.

Levitt offers details of this mind-boggling collaboration between two powerful criminal enterprises in a new book titled: “Hezbollah: The Global Footprint of Lebanon’s Party of God.” A nonprofit dedicated to exposing the dangers of Islamic extremism, the Clarion Project, profiled the book in a recent article titled “Growing Hezbollah Presence in Southwest U.S.”

Hezbollah’s business relationship with Mexican drug cartels is a driving force behind this phenomenon, according to the analysis that quotes alarming excerpts from the book. For instance in 2009, a former Chief of Operations for the DEA said that Hezbollah uses “the same criminal weapons smugglers, document traffickers and transportation experts as the drug cartels.”

A year later a man (Jamal Yousef) arrested in New York admitted stealing weapons from Iraq for Hezbollah and told authorities of a Hezbollah stockpile in Mexico that included 100 M-16 assault rifles, 100 AR-15 rifles, 2500 hand grenades, C4 explosives and anti-tank weapons. That same year a Hezbollah terrorist was captured in Tijuana and a senior Mexican military officer confirmed the group was conducting explosives training for members of Mexican drug cartels.

In the U.S., law enforcement officials across the nation’s Southwest region report a rise in imprisoned gang members with Farsi tattoos that experts say express loyalty to Hezbollah, the book analysis reveals. One U.S. law enforcement official is quoted as saying this: “You could almost pick your city and you would probably have a [Hezbollah] presence.”

The Muslim Boston Bombers
Not only do we not control our borders we also deliberately invite into the country Muslims from violent regions with extreme terrorism such as Chechnya, Somalia and Afghanistan.  Even when the Russians warned us about the Boston Bombers the US ignored the issue . . . ignored it either out of stupidity or on purpose hoping for an attack so the government has an excuse to expand the police state.  You pick.

Bi-Partisan Border "Control"
Yeah, this should work.
